All you really need is a good nights sleep!
We have become a 24/7 society and our sleep time has accordingly decreased. From 9 hours before the invention of the light bulb to six or seven hours today. This is not enough to maintain the physical energy and mental alertness we need to meet our dailyfamily and work demands.
If you are always tired try some of the following: 1. Maintain a regular sleep schedule, in other words go to sleep at 10 pm on Friday night if you go to sleep at 10 pm on Monday night. 2.Increase the amount of time you sleep. 3. Avoid long daytime naps, a power nap is okay. 4.Avoid caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes and heavy excercise a couple of hours before going to bed.
If after improving your sleep habits you find that you are still tired, consider seeing your doctor for a sleep study referral. You may have obstructive sleep apnea, restless legs or another sleep disorder.
If you are always tired, Southern Sleep Clinics can help!
